How To Unlock the New Minecraft Movie Capes?

Mojang has just released two exciting new capes which are inspired by the new Minecraft Movie that is coming out: the Home Cape and the Menace Cape. In this blog post we will go over a step-by-step guide on how to get your hands on these exclusive capes!

About the Capes

• Home Cape features the Earth Portal from the Minecraft Movie and is available by watching a Minecraft related livestream on Twitch.
• Menace Cape is inspired by the Nether Portal and can be obtained by watching Minecraft related streams on TikTok.

How to Get the Home Cape?

1. Sign in to your Twitch account.
2. Find a Minecraft related livestream and watch it for at least 3 minutes.
3. After watching it for 3 minutes, go to the "Drops and Rewards" section in Twitch and find your 5x5 redemption code.
4. Claim the code in the Minecraft's Redemption Page.

How to Get the Menace Cape?

1. Open TikTok and log in to your account.
2. Find a Minecraft related livestream that shows the "Rewards Available" tag on the screen - if it does not have it, you cannot get the reward from that livestream.
3. After watching the livestream for 3 minutes, click on the "3-minute" countdown and it will display your 5x5 redemption code.
4. Claim the code in the Minecraft's Redemption Page.

Note that both of these capes require the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition to redeem initially, but they will also become available on Minecraft: Java Edition using the same Microsoft account.

The Home Cape is available from March 18th to April 6th, 2025. However, the Menace Cape can be claimed until April 20th, 2025.
